Starting day for group ski school, Tuesday – Thursday at 9.30 or 11.00 (pre-booked latest 19th of December)

Wednesday 21. December 
Kids Huski ski race and Marshmallows party at  14.00-15.30 NOK 165
We start of with a slalom race and afterwards we play games, listen and dance to music and grill marshmallows over the open fire. The slalom race is held on a green and easy slope so everyone can participate. Everyone gets a medal after the ski race.

Evening family tour with sledge, campfire and fun! At 16.00-18.00 NOK 495 / Family (3 children + 2 adult) NOK 1695
Join on a cozy family evening tour where you get to try snowshoeing, sledding and bake bread on a stick over the campfire. We will explore the forest around Slaatta in Geilo and finish off with fun tobogganing. When it is dark, we use head torches.

Thursday 22. December
Snowboard Taster at 14.00-15.20 NOK 435
This course will give you an introduction to snowboarding. You will learn about the basic movements like stance, balance and control. It takes place on our beginner slope and it’s ideal for adults and children (8+) who like to try snowboarding for the first time.

Cross Country Taster  at 16.00-17.30 NOK 435
Join us on a “try out” cross country course. It will give you an introduction to the basic technique in classic style. We ski the tracks down at Ustedalsfjorden (lake) as far as the trails permit. Skis, boots and poles are included in the price. When it gets dark we use headtorches.  

Friday 23.December
Snowpark ski session for children and youth. At 13.30-15.20 NOK 435
Learn how to jump and use rails, boxes and kickers. The course is suitable for snow park beginners who can ski in varied terrain.

Saturday 24.December – Christmas eve (The ski lifts close at 14.00)
Meet Santa Claus in Hakkebakken at Slaatta at 12.00-12.30 – Christmas gifts for all children!

Sunday 25.December
KiDs SKi fUN at 11.00-12.20 NOK 355
Let’s have fun skiing, together with friends, siblings, and other children. We explore the ski area in Geilo and will look for the best slopes to ski. We also take a well-deserved break at SlaattaStugu with a hot chocolate and home-baked Slaattabolle. This is included in the price.

Monday 26.December

Carving clinic with Pro Ski Coach Joffrey Thevenon at 11.00-12.50 NOK 495
This carving clinic/ course is suitable for you who have quite a lot of skiing experience and are confident skiing various terrain.
Experience the feeling when the skis cut through the snow and get the most out of your carving skis. We look into what movements we have to do to get the skis on edge and what we have to do to stay in balance throughout the whole turn. We talk about different technical aspects that will effect us when skiing.

Tuesday 27.December

Join our torchlight ski parade at Slaatta. Together with our guests, we light up the ski slope and celebrate the New Year. Afterwards we serve gingerbread and hot drinks. Everyone is welcome!
