Geilo Ski school is based at Slaatta.
Our ski and snowboard instructors can also meet you for private lessons at other places in Geilo ski area. Longer transport may occur an additional cost.
Geilo Ski school has experienced and professional ski and snowboard instructors, certified and educated according to national and international standards.
They are all educated in methodology, pedagogy, technique and analysis. All our instructors speak Engelish.

It’s important that you are at about the same level to get the most out of the lesson.
Kids lessons for children 2-4 year old - Safety is important!
Give your child a good start on skis. The most important part of this lesson is to have fun on snow and make the child feel safe on snow. Remember that children’s motor skills develop very individually, therefore Geilo ski school recommend private ski lessons for young children. We recommend starting with a 40 minute lesson if it is the first time skiing.
Trying something completely new can take a lot of energy and it is also important that our youngest
guests meet an instructor they like and trust. If the child feels safe with the instructor, we recommend that mom/ dad follow the lesson from a distance, as the child can loose focus from what we are trying to learn.

Private cross country lesson – improve your technique and get a better flow!
Do you need help getting a better flow when cross country skiing? Geilo ski school’s instructors will help you to improve. They look at your movements, balance, flow, timing etc.
